The Saskatoon Berries will start the season on the road for the second year, heading to Weyburn for their season opener on Thursday, May 29. JAM FAM, mark your calendars because the Berries home opener will hit the NexGen Patch at Cairns Field on Saturday, May 31 against the Regina Red Sox. 

The Berries will celebrate dad vibes with their Father’s Day game against the Weyburn Beavers on Sunday, June 15. While the team plays on the road this Canada Day, they’ll celebrate the maple leaf with a Monday, June 30 game against the Regina Red Sox. Saskatoon wraps up the regular season at home on the holiday Monday of the August long weekend against the Medicine Hat Mavericks on Saskatchewan Day. 

HOME FIELD ADVANTAGE

Once again, the Saskatoon Berries are pleased to call the NexGen Patch at Cairns Field home for the season. Last season the Berries finished second in the Western Canadian Baseball League with an average attendance of 1,931.

Berries fans, also known as the Jam Fam, helped the Berries to a 17-11 record at home, and a trip to the East Division Final in their inaugural season. The Saskatoon Berries ranked 32nd in attendance in all of North American collegiate summer baseball leagues.

Back by very popular demand, the Berries have six Wiener Wednesdays to celebrate, in addition to four Family Sunday games. With no Friday home games on the schedule, Berries fans will hit the park for seven Saturday night games. 

LET’S GET IT STARTED

Fans will see some minor changes to game times at the NexGen Patch at Cairns Field for the 2025 season. 

The Berries home opener on Saturday, May 31 will start at 4:00 PM. Saturday night games will begin an hour earlier at 6:00 PM, with Sunday and Holiday Monday games running at 1:00 PM. All other games will see first pitch at 7:00 PM.
